Eldoret-based gospel singer William Getumbe has finally released an official music video for his hit single titled ‘Fuata Yesu’.
Visuals for the song that features trending Tanzanian musician Komando wa Yesu premiered on the American online video sharing and social media platform – YouTube, on June 29, 2022.
Directed by Hassan, the ‘Fuata Yesu’ video whose production works were handled by Machakos-based Jawabu Studios are high quality and a must-watch.
The video starts off with William Getumbe delivering his verse and the chorus before Komando wa Yesu comes in for the second verse.
“Wengine wanataftuta pesa, lakini mimi ntamtafuta yesu, yuko name hadi mwisho wa dhahari…,” read part of Getumbe’s verse.
‘Fuata Yesu’ a Swahili word for ‘folow Jesus’ is basically a gospel song that encourages Christians to follow Jesus to the end.
Komando wa Yesu famed for ‘Yamebadilika’ song featuring Madam Martha which recently hit 10 million YouTube views, adds some Tanzanian Flavour to the video.
“Najua ni wengi maadau, bila yesu sijui itakuaje…,” the Tanzania singer says in part of his verse.
In a recent interview with uasingishumews.co.ke, William Getumbe said it was a miracle getting to do a collabo with the popular Tanzanian singer.
