List of Elgeyo Marakwet Chief Officers Nominees

Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wisley Rotich has nominated 15 individuals to serve as Chief Officers in various departments in his administration.

While communicating the nomination of the 15 individuals to the Elgeyo Marakwet County Assembly, the county boss said it was based on recommendations from the County Public Service Commission.

“Pursuant to Section 45 (1) (a) of the County Government Act, 2012, I hereby forward names of nominees for appointments as County Chief Officers on the recommendation of the County Public Service Board,” Rotich says in part of the letter dated March 20, 2023.

In the list of nominees spread from across the sub-counties, there are five females and one who represents the minority.
