Deputy President William Ruto is this week taking his Bottom Up Economic model popularizing campaign to his political stronghold of the Rift Valley region.
The DP is scheduled to hold multiple rallies across the region, starting with Narok County where he pitched camp on Monday.
He is also said to be scheduled to visit Bomet and Kericho on Tuesday, before heading to Uasin Gishu and Nandi Counties on Wednesday.
In Nandi County, Ruto has been scheduled to make several visits across the sub-counties.
But according to a Facebook post by Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, the DP will not be visiting Mosop Sub County as earlier scheduled, where he was to visit Kabiyet Sub-County Hospital.

The change of events is a result of an earlier planned Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) recruitment exercise for the Sub County scheduled for the same day, November 24, 2021.
“Due to the Kenya Defence Forces(KDF) recruitment exercise scheduled to take place at Kabiyet township on the 24th of November, the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto’s planned visit to Kabiyet Sub-County Hospital is hereby postponed to a later date. Attached is the revised itinerary.”

All other planned visits in Nandi County remain in place.
A revised itinerary for Ruto’s visit to the county indicates that he will be starting his visit at Kapsabet ACK Harambee Plaza before presiding over the groundbreaking of the Kapsabet Fresh Produce Market.
The Deputy President will also commission the bitumen laying of the Kapsabet Road Network before winding up the tour by officially opening the Emgwen Technical and Vocational College.

Ruto is also scheduled to later visit Uasin Gishu County where he is expected to preside over a funds drive for 36 churches, where he will be hosted by Kesses MP Dr. Swarup Mishra at AIC Chebolol in Cheptiret/Kipchamo ward.
